The Trombone Shorty Foundation and the Gia Maione Prima Foundation presented our annual “Tunes for Toys” Toy Drive and Concert, held at Tipitina’s on Thursday December 12. Toy donations were collected at the front door as admission. Guests experienced live music from Trombone Shorty, Cimafunk and his band La Tribu, and Trombone Shorty Academy. The collected toys were distributed the following day, December 13, at Warren Easton High School during a toy giveaway event that afternoon. Refreshments and live music were enjoyed by all, and every child who attended received a free toy. Thank you to Warren Easton High School for their support, and to our volunteers who came and helped distribute toys!
