The Trombone Shorty Foundation offered our Brass Band Masterclass on November 3, led by Kirk Joseph, Gregory Davis, and Roger Lewis of the Dirty Dozen Brass Band. In this interactive masterclass, young musicians sharpened their skills, deepened their understanding of brass band repertoire, and learned directly from artists who helped shape the modern sound of New Orleans music. The Trombone Shorty Foundation focuses on providing young musicians with the skills and experiences to become professionals in a supportive and interactive setting, with a full schedule of Fall and Spring Masterclasses open to all (ages 14-24).
